1909 Sumter High Football Team

This section of our website is devoted to the small amount of information we have regarding our family. The genealogy is known back to Moses Brown in Scotland but that is where the trail ends. We also have some information about our ancestor John Alexander Brown who served in the Civil War. We know a lot about my grandfather, Robert T. Brown, who was a prominent business man in Sumter, South Carolina. He was known as "Popoo" in the family and was an interesting man.
